It may surprise you to know that March got its name from Mars, the Roman god of war. This is because Mars is red in color and the ancient Romans thought it was made of blood spilled in battles and was related to Mars, their god of war. They considered the month of March to be devoted to Mars.
April comes from the Greek goddess Aphrodite (Latin Aphros), the equivalent of Venus, the Roman goddess of love and beauty. It is also said that it comes from the the Latin word aperire, which means to open. It was named this because this was the month when the flowers start to open.
During the months of March/April, I am sending you all my warmest wishes and thoughts to help you create and live your best days ever. At any moment, and often when you least expect it, your life can miraculously change. You must keep walking in the direction of your dreams and never give up. You are special! There is nobody on planet earth that's exactly like you — no one who shares your fingerprints, your thoughts, your dreams, or your vision for your best life. If you knew you couldn't fail, what would your life look like this month? Write down this vision in one page and read it often throughout March/April, especially before you go to sleep. Write it as though you are living your best life now. And as you read it, feel the joy and thanksgiving you would experience if this were your current dream-come-true. This is where it begins. Put simply, you must believe it before you see it. Also, invite love to be your constant companion this month and always.
March/April are two of my favorite months of the year. For those of us north of the equator, it's the time when we say goodbye to winter and welcome the arrival of spring, and enjoy the bloom of colorful flowers. As the weather warms up our bodies and thoughts, it's a time to get serious about our health and a personal rejuvenation program and to begin shedding some of our layers of clothing to show more skin. March/April is also a time of new beginnings and fresh starts with a view to enhancing our health, boosting our prosperity, and upgrading our life.
Affirm daily: “I am loving, lovable, and loved.” As you silently send out thoughts of love to everyone throughout the month, rich blessings come back to you in the forms of joy, peace, vitality, prosperity, and more love to bestow.
